Day 20: Zell am See, Austria

Blogged by: Kenzie

Hello there!! Today we took off for Zell am See, a little ski town in Austria. We got to the 7 am gondola from Gimmewald in order to make our train from Interlaken.

We ran into a little trouble on the train from Zurich to Innsbruck because we weren't given seat reservations when we booked our tickets- I think it's because we are using Eurail. Anyways, apparently everyone else on the train WAS given seat assignments because we spent the 4hr ride moving from seat to seat whenever someone would tap us and say we were in their seat. One time we gave up and went to the train restaurant but all the tables were taken! Felt very homeless on that train.

Got to Zell am See and walked around the town. We ate a very Austrian meal of meat and potatoes with a fried egg on top. Not going to lie- great to have some meat in our diet! Loved all the carbs in Italy but nice to have a change:) This town is right on the lake, and tomorrow we plan to rent a kayak and explore. Actually- i saw that Its 10€ to water ski and i just may be doing that. Sorry for the delay in blog posts- Gimmewald wanted to charge us 5 Frank for wifi and we decided to Internet-fast.

Go American women In the world cup!! Were def planning to watch the game on Wednesday at a pub Munich. Looked up possible ways to get to Munchengladbach to watch the game but a beer garden may have to do.

If you think of us in your prayers, will you please pray for our safety and wisdom? It's been such a blessing so far that nothing has happened that we couldn't navigate but I don't want to forget that God has been taking care of us every day and that there have been plenty of times that things could have gone wrong. Praise Him for that!! Thank you for any prayers- we are so grateful.

Miss u all!! Seriously crazy how fast this trip is going by- can't believe we only have a week and a half left.

Xoxo
